Saving it for later?

For some reason, Nevie felt it necessary to put a cookie on her head. I guess she's saving it for later.

I put this cookie on my head for later.

What? Sometimes I like a midnight snack.

Nevie turned 15 mos on Wednesday, November 2nd. We can't believe how fast she's growing. She weighs 22 lbs 2 oz and is 30 inches long. She is doing great physically and developmentally. She drinks out of straw sippy cups. She says puppy, Daddy, Mama, thank you (in her baby way), duck, and uh-oh. She took 5 steps all by herself on Halloween! She also pokes me in the eye when I ask her "where is Mama's ojos" (Spanish for eyes), and squeezes my nose when I say "where is Mama's nariz" (Spanish for nose). She lifts up her shirt and pokes her belly and ours when we ask her about her belly. She also blows kisses when we say "I love you". She waives bye-bye too. She is constantly on the go...crawling everywhere and pushing her walker toys or my step stool to walk around.

Nevie makes all kinds of silly faces. They are all so cute, but my fav is when she does this thing where she wrinkles her nose and starts blowing through it. She shows all her teeth. It is so cute! She is the love of our lives and we could not be enjoying her more!

Halloween Weekend

Halloween was so much fun this year that Chad commented that he hoped Nevie doesn't confuse it with Christmas. Nevie had three Halloween events to attend. What can we say ... she's a mini socialite. :) We definitely got our money's worth out of her costume. The weekend started off with a Halloween party at the Ft. Worth Club. Nevie was mesmerized by those in costume singing "Thriller". She was dancing in her high chair only to break for grabbing a bit of food. I gave her a little taste of cupcake and you would have thought that I fed her 20 cupcakes. She was crawling around everywhere sometimes in circles going 90 mph. She had so much fun. Her souvenir was a pumpkin shaped balloon, which she loved. On Sunday, we went to Trunk or Treat with my mom, sister and her family at my sister's church. We had a great time. On Halloween, we went to Nevie's school parade. It was so cute and so much fun!
