In Transition

So, we sold our house quicker than we thought and luckily found a new one just about the time we had to move out. This led to about 15 days of living like nomads. If you saw two SUV's driving down the road packed to the gills or two parents sifting through the cargo area of their vehicles for a bumbo, toy or favorite blankie in some random parking lot, that was very likely us. We stayed in a hotel, at a friend's lake house and with family during that time. We are fortunate to have great family and friends, but what an experience. We kept our sanity though and made some memories....we don't look stressed at all, do we?? :) Glad that is over and we are settled into our new home!

Peter Pan!

Nevie really enjoyed the Peter Pan play at Casa Manana. She was super impressed by all the flying and loved meeting the cast afterwards.

Oh Happy Day!

Mila's adoption has been finalized and she is forever ours. The same judge presided over both Nevie's and Mila's finalization hearing, which we thought was pretty cool. After the hearing, we celebrated by visiting the Dallas World Aquarium and eating lunch at Cafe Madrid - our favorite Dallas restaurant. It was a glorious day.
Waiting for the hearing. Someone needed a snack.

Yay! Mila is officially a Cacciotti!

Happy family of four.

Cafe Madrid!

She loves bread and cheese...a girl after my own heart.

Easter 2014

Could not get them to look at the camera at the same time.

The loot.

Time to line up for the egg hunt.

Stopped to check out what's in this egg.

Where could more eggs be hiding...

Surprised by cascarones.

I'm safe in here from the cascarones.

Getting Aunt Norma

I'm off to sneak up on someone else.

I've been attacked.
