Meet Rohan...

The newest member of our family. He and Nevie are on their way to being best buds....again, it helps that Nev shares her food. :)

Have We Mentioned How Much Nevie LOVES Animals??

This should be an indication of just how much...

"I Rode a Big, Big Boat"

That's all Nevie kept saying after my aunt and uncle took us out on their boat some weeks ago. She was a bit tired from playing by the time we got on the boat, but she loved the ride!

Love Her

Could we BE any luckier or more blessed to have this cutie pie in our lives? Love her.

Fun Day at the Park

Water + Sand = A Great Day

Nevie could play in the water and sand all day long. We love it! As you can tell from the third picture down, she has such a hard life. :)

Ahhh....this is the life.

What happened to my legs?

Savannah Banana

Sadly, we said goodbye to our sweet (but a little crazy, ok a lot crazy) Nana on June 5th. She was a great dog, a wonderful friend and companion and a huge part of our family. She left her mark on our hearts and even our house. There are scratch marks and teeth marks on some of our door frames and discolored patches of walls (thanks to our handy patchwork) that can only be blamed on mother nature....and Nana's intense fear of thunderstorms. We think of her and chuckle every time we notice one of her "marks". Nana loved the water and would do just about anything for a swim. She also did this crazy thing where she rolled on her back and squirmed around while she made a snorting type noise. It was hilarious. We had many, many wonderful times with Nana and Maddie a/k/a "the girls". Our most fav times I would have to say were spent with them at the lake and river. We took them as often as possible and have some great memories spent together in the water. The girls loved each other and loved us unconditionally. Nana especially loved Nevie well because let's face it Nevie shared her food with her. Actually, they became quite close. Although we have heavy hearts, we are not surprised that Nana passed so quickly after Maddie...they had to be together...they always were... for 12 and a half years. We are sad to say that it's the end of an era.

In Loving Memory of Savannah
We will always remember her like this despite what the cancer did to her.
