Pre-K Graduation

Are you kidding me? Tell me that it isn't time for Nev to leave TLCC. It seems like just yesterday I walked out after leaving her in the infant room for the very first time. I was teary eyed and willed myself to keep walking and drive to work. TLCC has taken such great care of our precious kiddos. They have learned so much and have been provided with the groundwork for learning and becoming socially responsible people one day. They have Jesus in their hearts. They love to read books. They are compasionate and kind to one another. They are all friends and are close to their teachers and family. Such smart and loving kids.

They must have worked on the program for months. The kids were so awesome. As a class they recited the Lord's Prayer, the Pledge of Alligence, they sang songs and danced, and they did a skit of Goldie Locks (Nev was Goldie Locks). Individually, they recited short chants about seasons, colors, etc. Nev's was about the color blue and her favorite princess Elsa. Check out the video. Pretty cute and funny. It was so neat to see these confident and excited 4 year olds sharing what they had learned.

All this to say, time goes by too fast. As Nev walked across to get her certificate in her tiny cap and gown (who knew they made caps and gowns for little people), I could picture her sweet face all gown up 13 years from now accepting her high school diploma. Time really needs to slow down....or it might just be too much for my heart.

Waiting on the graduation program to start.

She was so excited to see her family there.

Little Ham.

Hugging sweet Ms. Celia - her Pre-K4 teacher.

Recived her "diploma".

Congrats!

Nev and her sweet Pre-K3 teacher.
