Mini Camp!

Musical theater mini camp was "awesome" to quote Nevie directly. This was her first camp and it has set the bar high for all future camps for sure. At the end of the week, we got to see the campers' performance of the original play "The Kite". Nevie had a line (see video). She did so great and I was so proud I wanted to cry. haha. I hope this is the first of many play performances to come. She seems to really like being on stage so we shall see.

Performance Day

Nevie is the one in the middle holding the older girl's hand. Her line was, "If the kite hops out of the tree, ignore it. Bye."  You might notice that Nevie had a sad face after her line. She said she thought people were laughing AT her. We had to explain that she had a funny line and people were supposed to laugh. So, it meant that she delivered her line just as she should. That made her happy. :)
