What's going on outside?

I mean really....how cute is this? Literally, they are our three peas in a pod. God, we love those three!
Nevie: Whacha looking at girls?

Maddie: Nevie, do you see that rascally squirrel? He taunts us every time.

Nevie: Yeah, he's on our list. Don't you worry...I've got a plan.
(In response to Maddie above.)

What a big world it is out there. Lots to explore. Who's got an escape plan?

Let's Feed Nana Instead

Nevie thinks it is REALLY funny to feed Nana. She giggles so hard when Nana takes the food from her hand and/or eats it off the floor after she drops it. Nana is so great too because she eats it from Nevie's hand ever so gently being careful not to bite her. Between what falls in Nevie's lap and what she gives Nana, we aren't sure how much really makes it into her own belly. Despite us telling her no and to eat her food herself, she sneaks some to Nana. We have to keep a close eye on that sly little one. :) At least we know she doesn't mind sharing.

Nev's 14 Months today, by the way. We can't believe it. She's so much fun!

 Let's have some dinner Nana.

A little for you....

 A little for me.

Oh! Busted!

I Love Maddie!

Maddie is not only great for laying on, but also doubles as a walker. Nevie uses her to pull her self up and when Maddie takes a wee step so does Nevie. The girls are so great with Nevie and she just adores them. :) It's just a matter of time before Nevie is walking all on her own.

I love College Football....Mostly A&M

Nevie was ready for the game last weekend. Here she is watching A&M intently eating her cherrios. The irony is she's sitting in her Longhorn Godfather's lap for part of the game. I think she figured it out. :)

 Let's go Aggies!

Wait a minute....we aren't rooting for the same team.
Are you my real Godfather??

Night Night

It's time for bed. Maddie was lying on the rug in front of Nevie's crib while I was getting the room ready for bedtime (turning on the night light, fan, getting out her book, etc). Nevie crawled over, laid on Maddie and started drinking her "papa" (milk). She petted Maddie while she drank and Maddie drifted off to sleep.  If only Nevie fell asleep as fast as Maddie. Ha!

Bam-Bam sighting?

What do you think of my ponytail? Is it fashionable? Am I making a statement? They keep calling me Bam-Bam. Something deep inside tells me that is not a good thing. :)

Presents ....

So I said I'd come back to the great gifts that Nevie received for her 1st birthday....well, she received some very cute clothes (which she looks very cute and fashionable in), sweet baby dolls (which she really loves), cool and educational toys (she plays with every day), a pink airplane, the picnic table we made her and her most favorite ... her very own bye-bye buggy. I say her very own because she rides in one that holds about 9 children at school and loves it. Aunt Norma and Aunt Ronnie gave her one to have at home and sometimes we can't get her out of it. They also gave her a personalized license plate to attach to it. It's so cute!! We have enjoyed walks with Nevie in her bye-bye buggie in the nice morning and evening weather here lately now that it's cooled down some.

 Driving is so cool.

Wait, I think we are experiencing car trouble. It seems the car won't go anymore....

Maybe the problem is in the engine?

False alarm ... evidently my driver is taking a break.

And we are off again, but it's time to go inside. :(

My pink airplane. Maybe I'll be a jet setter some day. :)

Hanging out on my picnic table. It's a beautiful morning.

I like playing with my puzzle.
