The Walker

So, we have been trying to get Nevie to stand up and even take a few steps with assistance, of course. She wants nothing to do with it. We try to plant her feet and hold her up by her arms and she quickly picks up her legs and puts them in the sitting position in mid-air, if you can imagine that. We pulled out her walker some weeks ago in hopes that she would get the idea. At first she just sat there and played with the toys. Later, she managed to make it go backwards a little. She still hasn’t quite figured it out, but she is getting better about standing with us…when she wants to. She pulls herself up on her knees all the time, but only pulls herself up to the standing position when she really wants to. Most of the time she just wants to crawl everywhere, which is fine by me. :)
